Abstract

Acute pancreatitis is a life-threatening condition, often triggered by gallstones or excessive alcohol consumption. This case report presents a 45-year-old male from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, who developed severe abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Laboratory tests confirmed hypertriglyceridemia-induced pancreatitis. The patient was treated with insulin infusion, plasmapheresis, and supportive care. This case underscores the importance of early recognition and management of hypertriglyceridemia in pancreatitis.
