Early-Onset Multiple Sclerosis with Atypical Presentation in a Turkish Patient
Main Article Content
Abstract
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder affecting the central nervous system. This case report describes a 28-year-old female from Ankara, Turkey, who presented with optic neuritis and progressive limb weakness. MRI findings revealed demyelinating plaques, and cerebrospinal fluid analysis confirmed oligoclonal bands. The patient was managed with corticosteroids and disease-modifying therapy, resulting in significant improvement. This case emphasizes the variability in MS presentations and the importance of early diagnosis.
