Copyright Policy

Current Clinical and Medical Education operates under an open-access model where authors retain full copyright ownership of their published work while allowing for broad dissemination and reuse under a Creative Commons license.

Author Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain full copyright over their work upon publication.

  • The journal applies a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) to all published articles, allowing unrestricted use, sharing, and reproduction, provided proper credit is given to the original authors and the journal.

  • By submitting to Current Clinical and Medical Education, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the article under this open-access license.

Rights Granted to the Journal

By submitting an article, authors agree to grant Current Clinical and Medical Education the rights to:

  • Publish, reproduce, and distribute the work in print and electronic formats.

  • Use and promote the work for scholarly and educational purposes without restrictions beyond proper attribution.

Author Rights and Responsibilities

  • Authors can share, distribute, and republish their work in any format, provided the original publication in Current Clinical and Medical Education is properly cited.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted work is original and does not infringe on third-party copyrights.

  • Authors must secure appropriate permissions for any third-party content used in their submissions.

Third-Party Content and Permissions

  • If an article includes third-party material (e.g., figures, tables, images) under copyright protection, authors must obtain and submit written permission from the copyright holder.

  • The journal is not responsible for obtaining permissions; it is the authors' duty to ensure compliance before submission.

Self-Archiving and Repository Policy

Current Clinical and Medical Education encourages authors to deposit their published work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, and personal websites under the following conditions:

  • Preprint Version: Authors may share preprints on preprint servers before submission.

  • Accepted Manuscript (Postprint): Authors may archive the accepted version immediately upon acceptance with a citation to the final published version.

  • Published Version: The final Version of Record may be freely shared and archived without any embargo period.

Modifications to Copyright Terms

Current Clinical and Medical Education reserves the right to modify its copyright policies to align with evolving open-access standards and regulations. Any changes will be communicated to authors prior to implementation.
